The second annual Precision Medicine Workshop, a pre-conference program at the 2026 ATOPP Summit, will bring together national leaders in precision medicine to collaboratively identify best practices for designing, evaluating, and elevating precision medicine programs and to develop practical strategies for their real-world implementation in diverse clinical settings.

The 2026 Precision Medicine Workshop will aim to build on the outcomes from the 2025 workshop, transitioning from the identification of actionable next steps to aligning on best practices through which precision oncology programs across a variety of practice settings can:

• Measure their success through key metrics and performance indicators
• Optimize and scale their operational workflows, and
• Ensure equity and access across the patient populations they serve

Considerations related to specific solid tumors and hematologic malignancies will be integrated into each breakout session, grounding the discussion in real-world applications to improve the care of individuals with non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, acute myeloid leukemia, and other relevant malignancies.

This 4.5-hour, invitation-only workshop will convene key stakeholders, such as oncology and precision medicine pharmacists, specialty pharmacists, nurse navigators, financial counselors, electronic medical record (EMR) representatives, molecular profiling experts, and AI and technology leaders, with representation from a variety of practice settings (eg, academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, community centers).

Participants will engage in structured, interactive small-group breakouts and large-group report-outs, dialogue, and facilitated Q&A.

Through participation in the workshop, attendees will contribute to the development of tangible deliverables related to each session, with a goal of creating a toolkit of practical resources for the wider precision medicine community.
